The Small Stone MK1 is the first model of a SERIES of three, not counting the current rditions. It dates from 1975, the MK2 (yellow Pacman logo) and MK3 (Orange and black) will extend the line to the beginners of the 80's. A 100% analog pedals look solid, even if the indoor circuit is relatively "suspended" and would MRIT better fixation. His phaser is the main CHARACTERISTICS unique and inimitable, used by Jean-Michel Jarre's time Oxygne. He spent his Eminent organ (which possde Solina sound) in the Small stone to produce its pad sounds that made clbre. It is said he used the same battery uses for this ...

UTILIZATION

Trs easy to use, the Small Stone has only two buttons:
-1 For "rate" of the phaser frquence
-1 Button "color" that gives the choice between two types of phasing: The Space and ultra-spatial.

SOUND QUALITY

Great sound, trs effective provided they do not go too much into the pedals, otherwise mdiums become dirty. The pedals "food" a small volume (about 5dB), so be careful when you want to use it on scne ...
The Small Stone possde a "real" Bypass: The circuit is not really switch to altration sound when passing through the pedals.
Some pedals have a phasing finer, more paramtres and buttons. The Small Stone has only a lot lot lot of charm ... So: We love it or hate it!

OVERALL OPINION

In résumé Super pedals for guitar, or sheets of synths.
