Korg unveiled at Musikmesse 2014 a new chromatic tuner that sits on the sound hole of the acoustic guitar.
Rimpitch (ref RP-G1) is an electronic tuner which curve shape allows for attaching it to the sound hole of a 6-string acoustic or electric-acoustic guitar (100mm ±3mm diameter). Those sound holes must not have any “exotic” shape, evidently. Note that the Rimpitch is easily removable if you need to install a pickup for example.
The Rimpitch includes a piezo sensor to detect the pitch of the strings and a green and red LED meter. Its works with a battery, so don’t forget to switch it off when not in use.
