Tronical PowerTune

How long you use it?
I use it for the aquisition of my Gisbon Robot Guitar First Run purchased in January 2008.

Did you tried many other models before buying it?
I had tried other guitars but Powertune of tronical had just arrived on the market so I tested it by buying the Gibson.


What is so special that you love the most, least?
The BIG plus is the fact of being always granted PERFECTLY!
We no longer spend time with her tuner before playing or between two pieces.
The second point is really interesting to be able to change their tune super easily and quickly. The open tunings have never been so accessible!
I could not imagine changing tuning with a standard guitar (the mid ground for example) because they are too long and quite boring to play only one song with particular tuning but with Powertune, it causes no problem. ..

Usage is very simple, you just raise the control knob, select its tuning (6 are pre-recorded: standard tuning, drop D, double drop D, E flat, ect. Can also record your own instrument tuning), strum and the powerheads are activated automatically and give the guitar so incredibly accurate.
There are also other methods such as setting the tone or mode décordage or stringing.
Installation is unobtrusive in the sense that it does not change the look of the guitar (aside from the back of the head).

The negative point is that we always afraid it fails but it's still very robust hardware and after sales service is just Tronical copy (nothing to do with Gisbon!).

How would you rate the quality / price?
Here, I bought a model already pre-fitted but I know that the company sells the system adaptable to any guitar but unfortunately I do not know the price ...

With experience, you do again this choice?
