Along with the DP88, PreSonus brought the small HP2 headphone amp to Summer NAMM 2015, which is designed for in-ear monitoring.

The upcoming PreSonus HP2 is a compact box that can be used on stage for in-ear monitoring or in studio with conventional headphones. You can clip it to your guitar strap or your belt, or mount it onto a microphone stand.

The mono/stereo amp features volume and pan knobs, an 1/8” headphone input and a mini-XLR input is available on the back. In mono mode, you can mix two channels, the pan control can the be used to increase your own channel. The output level is 100 mV.

The HP2 can be powered by a 9V battery or adapter.

The new headphone amp will be available this fall, with a US MAP of $99.
