Excellent
Classic design for a jazz box (es cf 175)
Body width smaller than the average, closer epiphones joe pass
Ibanez pickups custom 58 (ceramic, alnico, not as Pm and Gb)
UTILIZATION
Very good ergonomics
Handle very pleasant.
Slight guitar
SOUNDS
Sonority very sweet, but with little output level with the original pickups. Ideal for accompaniment.
After replacement by two gibson 57 classic, the guitar takes another Dimmension. Jim Hall and Wes are not far .....
OVERALL OPINION
Very powerful guitar pickups after change (57 classic). Compares favorably with other models and benson are 175. The violin is very beautiful.
The problem is the economy performed on critical components ... guitar laché me full studio session when I had to spend an entire morning at settle my fault ... its a ridiculously jack cheap. I can also change the bridge .... I still have to change the controls for volume and tone, and after my luthier ....
But at the sound and playability, I did not find a better jazz, after the mods ..... however I have not yet tried L5 ......
