(I re-updated the LINKS!)

These models are made in China.

Ibanez link on the site:
http://www.ibanez.com/HollowBodyGuitars/model-AF75D

Mahogany set neck with a twist "Rosewood", 22 frets, connection to the body at the 14th fret, with "binding" (edges) and "perl inlay" (marking).

Cons veneer maple body (in fact 90% of half-boxes are plated Gibson cons included, only a few exceptions VERY EXPENSIVE have a solid wood crate).

2 chrome humbuckers in standard electronic configuration (LP-style - ie a 3-position switch, 2 volume, 2 tones).

Easel "floating" type "archtop" adjustable height and adjustable bridge by bridge, chrome.

Mechanical oil bath chrome.

The finish of this guitar is very "OUTSTANDING" (binding, varnish, pearlescent, etc. ...).

UTILIZATION

This guitar is a stringed SPOTLESS. It requires REAL strings to give it the full breadth of sound that can be expected, ie the 10-52 see larger. Especially do not install what I call "elastic", it never rings.

The handle is a true "delight". Access to the treble is a bit difficult because the bevel is not very deep, but it is a compromise in favor of its cash (cash bulkier). The box is deep, giving it a sound loud enough. Moreover, as there is no "beam" support fund, but instead a dam fine enough, the sound is "broad" (but beware the "Larsen" inherent in this type of case). In any case, this depth of body is not "too important" and comfort of play (corner of cash and the odds against the underside of the arm) is not questioned, for a guitar of this type.
The guitar is pretty light.
Regarding the pickups, humbuckers are good, not too powerful, and coming up with happiness "dub" sound a little cash. The result is a sound of Jazz while 1st order precise, soft, and with a bit of acoustic resonance.

Now, if you're a maniac as I am, replacing the pickups with 2-TV Jones, you're left with a "GRETSCH" hands, for just the fifth of the price.

SOUNDS

Jazz for the Blues Rock'a'Billy is THE GUITAR you need, provided that you do not "snobbish" narrow-minded who believe that only the guitars are the 3000 Euros case (kind Gibsons or Gretsch).

I played on a number of amps, transistors for sound "clear" and Jazz, Blues and lamps for rock'n'roll, with the original pickups it sounded like a princess already, with TV-Jones is coming to paradise.

The most beautiful sounds are those obtained in clean, when you hear a little of the acoustic sound that permeates through the amp.
But, it's crunch actually sends the "puree", she goes naturally into "feedback" which allows the control to have a wonderful sustain.

OVERALL OPINION

This guitar is a "Must I had a Gretsch Electromatic ago on which I installed the 2-TV Jones pickups, the Gretsch I sold, I mounted the TV-Jones on Ibanez, and I got to heaven, my ancestors!

If you look at the value, it's pure MADNESS!

PS: a Gretsch 6120 cost roughly between 2300 and 3000 Euros depending on the model, AND IT DOES NOT RING MY BEST IBANEZ after processing, I assure you!

Here is the web page where you can FINALLY see the "FABULOUS" transformations on my beautiful Ibanez AF75DTOR:
