Made in Japan! This Ibanez is part of the best current productions, both in the choice of species and quality workmanship.
22 medium jumbo frets (Ouch, fingers), delivered with a set of strings 13/52 (Ouch, again, not set (the strings were well 1 cm from the sleeve!
2 Ibanez Super 58 humbuckers, hot fat and wish it all
No split, we can move from one configuration fat, another equally fat ......!
1 volume, 1 tone parmicro, an inverter 3 positions.

Ibanez gold easel, which tend to suffer repeated in sweats ..... But that is adjustable in any position, height, individual (each bridge is adjustable) length.

Mahogany relatively round, similar to that of 335, but very comfortable, with a beautiful polish.

UTILIZATION

The round, due Aau gauge strings, his coarse adjustment lacked sweetness, and it took bataiiler firm to improve this state.
So I refretter in medium, commissioned a planimetry (150 €), and I found a handle and very nice, finally a guitar easy to play, and sound.
Easy access to acute.
not too heavy at the end of a set, no pain ...

The sound is typed jazz, blues or fusion, rock and roll. always soft, warm, with slight crunch as the amp used ...
Severe acute excellent balance, and whatever the configuration of the microphones, the presence is still strong with mediums may be a bit forward. but not annoying.

SOUNDS

Connected to a AER Compact 60, or a Fender Blues Deluxe, all for the better. According to lead attack, we get the dreaded light crunch, which can turn into sweet overdrive for solos. Plue j'intercalke in a Tube Screamer and the palette of sound is sufficient.
The sound is always warm, fat, especially with the neck pickup. Micro horse to obtain saturation of free clean.

OVERALL OPINION

I possess 3 years, and now it is perfectly "oiled", I take a lot of fun to play.
Equivalent in feel and sound to 335, with a much lower price.

I had a lot of other guitars, rock and other typed "jazz", 1 / 2 or 1 / 4 body. The Ibanez has a versatility that do not offer the pure jazz guitars.

For cons, I kept my Start, which alone allows the crystalline sounds for casseroles Funk ...

In hindsight, I would take a maointenant Ibanez JSM set correctly but .... Or old, JS 200, which had a split to move the microphones as simple.
