Ibanez Concord

Ibanez Concord 647-12

User reviews on Ibanez Concord products

Oldie quite endearing (Ibanez - Concord 696)

By lse, 09/09/2012
Made in Japan late 70s (presumably 76)
Spruce
Rosewood back and sides
Probably all rolled
Handle rather thin and fairly flat profile
The format is a classic dreadnought
The presentation is excellent.

UTILIZATION

The handle is nice .. for those who love handles close enough. I personally prefer the wide sleeves.
That of Concord 696, is to take a recent reference, fairly close to that of a Cort Earth 100
The ergonomics are good (well like a dreadnought, this plan anything special report)

The bridge is adjustable, in spite of it on mine action is a bit high, even for ringing chords, not for solos

SOUNDS

The sound is really good though. relatively low credibility, rather crystalline treble. We not fall backwards, but again for taking a reference widespread Ibanez I had this along with a Cort Earth 100, usually unanimously hailed as a very good entry-level, well the old Ibanez is frankly better with a warmer, less metal ect .. especially in the bass.

OVERALL OPINION

I stumbled upon it.
they are old guitars that have no value today and can recover for a pittance. Mine is in fair condition .. necessarily more than 30 years she lived, but the sound is nice.

Not necessarily need to pay expensive but these are excellent Concord 696 have a scratch in a corner, take a weekend or on a holiday without trembling in case something happens to them.

Copy guitar Harmony H1264 (Ibanez - Concord 752)

By HarmonyFan, 18/02/2013
Just to add to the previous opinion, this guitar is an obvious copy of the American Harmony H1264 Guitar, made by Harmony in Chicago from 1970 to about 1972 (spruce top, maple body).
You can see this "752" on the 1971 Ibanez catalog, and it is a typical instrument of this era Japanese manufacturers began to invade the U.S. market by copying their own models. Even the term "Jet Black" color is for a copy of the term used by Harmony.
752 the neighbor in the catalog with 751 color 3 tone sunburst, itself a copy of the Harmony H1266.

The best guitars (Ibanez - Concord 754 ML)

By yakyeti, 06/10/2013
Made in Japan.

UTILIZATION

Very bob run. Despite its light guitar jumbo shape. Its fantastic.

SOUNDS

Big sound. Powerful bass. The other guitars, even a Gibson J200 new paled next. I must say that the years have enhanced the instrument.

OVERALL OPINION

38 years. I have others, but this is my favorite.
The picture presented seems a bit strange. Mine is all white. The table with the dark years. The ML L means left. As the bridge is skewed, it does not turn. The model for right there in black.

what hip guys!! (Ibanez - Concord 684)

By kikkorizzo, 09/06/2014
I admit that I am amazed by the sound quality of Japanese guitars.
I must also say that I have never had good folk guitars USA in hands.
However I am sure that the ibanez concord guitar is really a high niveau.J 'have a concord BK
I compared it with my takamine ef 261 san and there is nothing to do.
It sounds better.
The bass is real bass and crystal clear treble.
The handle end.
Mine is amplified with a low-end preamp, but even then it sounds.
I'm very happy.

UTILIZATION

yes, end

SOUNDS

I do not know if there are better

OVERALL OPINION

very good guitar.
If you see a 450 euros, do not hesitate.
