Ibanez MIMX150H

User reviews on Ibanez MIMX products

Very good stuff for beginners (Ibanez - MIMX150H)

By TAJ873, 22/01/2013
150w amp head under 4ohms or 8ohms under 100 with 11 Amp Modelling, 13 digital effects (chorus, flanger, tremolo, delay ...), three simultaneous effects, 5x2 programmable patches and chromatic tuner. There is also a drum machine (50 patterns) integrated.
Level connectivity can also be found a line-out

UTILIZATION

The configuration is pretty simple choice on the type of amp model and adds chorus, delay, ect ... that is desired.

SOUNDS

Sound, big question will always be the subject of discussing among musicians. To put it simply this head sounds good, and modeling are very good but it does not show the sound of your guitar, such as printing to connect the guitar to a PC that spring sound virtually identical despite different guitars.
Distortions are not the strong point of this head, lacks a bit of punch to my taste

OVERALL OPINION

This head is to advise beginners, it helps to have the power and range of effect wide enough for a pretty reasonable taste. If you are looking for well-typed sounds go your way.
