Although these headphones are the entry level of the radius AKG Hi-fi, one might expect, this brand, a model somewhat more qualitative ...

Let's be clear, the sound is not disastrous ... but really not great either!

A quick tour of the specification of the beast:

- Impedance: 32 Ohm
- Sensitivity: 124 dB / V
- Nominal power: 15 mW
- Bandwidth: 18Hz - 20 kHz
- Weight: 5 gr
- Cable: 1m
- 3.5 jack socket

That ..
With these specifications, we were entitled to expect a minimum standard: rather wide bandwidth, high sensitivity but low impedance ... Yet this is not really the case ...

So to be clear, these headphones are not disposable but very clearly oriented towards use on an MP3 player or other device of this type.

Question sound spectrum, the whole is severely lacking in clarity for use "pro" ...
The sound, overall, is not so bad ... probably better, even, as headphones I-Pod!
But now ... the bass are not very accurate, the midrange is "balladent" between the bass and treble ... the latter being probably the most "clean" but not being developed to make us "take off" ...
Finally, the stereo image is suitable ... no more!

All, ultimately, gives a fairly homogeneous, but its unclear and poorly defined for use beyond mere listening on an mp3 player.

The K309 comes alone, without any accessories except the traditional protective foam ... at the same time, less than 10 euros, you should not expect a complete kit!

I also have the K317 for which I left a review on this site ... for 7 euros more, you can have a "must have" a very good product is called "hi-fi" but is equally suitable for some uses studio because of the accuracy of the entire sound spectrum. In addition, this model (combined with the original sixty euros) comes with a complete kit and a semi rigid sheath ... something very practical!

There ... now you know what you stand for this headphone.
It is not so bad but in this price range, I would not be surprised to find better despite the good reputation of AKG ...

... Enjoy ... :)
