Perfect for voice

By donalfonsocosi, 02/04/2014
Vocal mic large diaphragm condenser

I use it for 11 years now. Initially for lyrical singing and 5 years for the voiceover.

I like different microphones Rode in or Audiotechnica.

Now that it has become my reference microphone for voice-overs, what I like is that it is very linear over the entire spectrum. No grain, no heat provided by a Neumann-type lamp, but with the advantage that we do what we want her master. It is a little less sensitive than eg Rode NT1A, but the voice just what is excellent, because the useful signal is recovered with less noise or mouth breath. A good gate to -50 db mixing and your client receives an audio file without any noise interference.

If I rest solely on the voice application, the value is unbeatable. I for customers the biggest clubs in the world (Nestle, Samsung, Times Warner ...) and all were impressed by the quality of the sound (to cabin voice, of course). When I started this business I thought that if I became rich and famous I'll pay a U87, but with experience, I think for the price differential would be a waste. The U87 will be reserved for the beautiful music.

not bad

the characteristics are everywhere so ...

It's been 11 years now that I use .. so reliable!
Before buying no, I started with that one ...
It is not bad for vocals and acoustic guitars simply taking
Not good at all on percussion and brass ... but it is not made for that
It allows frankly do work quite right ... it has its place in a micro park ...
After that is a microphone input range so do not expect miracles!
I would rather personal to the Blue Spark now that I find much more interesting ... but it's a matter of taste!
In any case it is reliable, good sound ... here!

Its been 2 years casi I use

This is my first condenser microphone, before I was taken out of a shure sm58 that I plugged directly in mA creative soundblaster PCI. It is only on its first static we always do WHOA! The sound is clean, there is a presence that changes us from our old mics with 2 balls. I bought it with a mic preamp to the lamp 200 of the same brand, this one gives a little more character to the microphone.

What I like the + is its look that pro: D. The three directional. The sound is not bad, you have to mix a little tweaking to get something better.

I love it - it's lack of low frequencies and the tamper to mix to insert it into the musical space side.

For the price it's going, but with the experience I would take another micro

Unbeatable value for money. I bought it knowing that équipait of BTS Audio section, and had a good press. I am not disappointed.
