Electro-Harmonix is at Summer NAMM 2015 to introduce a new dual stereo looper pedal for instruments and vocals, the 22500.

The new EHX 22500 allows for playing two loops either in parallel or series with free or quantize modes, which gives the user a wide variety of use options. Electro-Harmonix provides an 8 GB SD card so that you can record up to 12 hours of loops, but you can use SDHC cards for longer recording time.

Each loop has its own control footswitch and overdub feature, and a third stomp can be setup either as a tap tempo, master stop or to enable/disable the built-in drum loops.

You can also adjust the level for each loops, as well as the input gain and have Reverse and Octave options for increase creativity. Last, a Mode multifunction knob allows for direct access to a 100 bank memory to store the loops. It can also be used to control rhythms.

The EHX 22500 can operate in mono or stereo ; the left/mono input accepts instrument or microphone thanks to its 1/4” and XLR connectors, phantom power and dedicated mic gain control. A USB port will serve for backups/restore from a PC or Mac and Electro-Harmonix provides the 9.6V AC power supply. The pedal can be completed with an optional foot controller from which you’ll browse the bank memory.

The 22500 Dual Stereo Looper is available for $359.97, the optional footswitch has a price of $117.15. Details are expected soon at www.ehx.com.
