For my part I have covered with a metal cover, it makes the sound a bit brighter but more importantly it avoids the blows of pick and poussiète angry that accumulates in the windings.
The finish is hell, all is well cared for, a real gem.
I took Cherry red, too good.

UTILIZATION
The handle? aaaaah .... the neck a miracle this handle!
I had a Les Paul studio, an Epiphone SG400, a Yamaha Pacifica (plus a few pale copies or Ibanez Tartempion MIDI when I was) but this is the best race that I know.
Even my Ibanez AS103 is not as comfortable, a real shoe for the hands.
access to all the boxes even with my big fingers boudinnés.
Slight tendency to rock side handle, this guitar is not a big c.. Keep the strap even sitting.
The edges are rounded for comfort on the thigh, the body is flat and curved over the back, very good polish, yet I'm sweating like an ox.
The sound is real rock how Jimmy Page and Fogerty. While fans of Satriani and Metallica, go your way, it is not for you.
SOUNDS
Excellent combination of micro plus the ability to split single or double coil.
It happens in all styles of Yes, the Led Zep, Clapton's, the Jazz ... uh no not even when Mike Brant!
Just enough fat and rocky when necessary.
Either way this guitar sounds even without amp and that's a sign!
After 6 months of use, I turned the effects pedals and I play live on the amp (an all-tube Class A Koch) and it's even better
I added the metal cover on the pickups, for the look first and then I realize that the sound is brighter.
It would be perfect with a 3rd single coil pickup in the middle (kind Telecaster).
I think if I find a good luthier, I made do.
2 volumes and one tone, mine seems wired in reverse, ie the volume of the neck pickup is down and the bridge pickup to top! weird.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 3 years and I always return it. I had gone to buy a Gibson SG standard € 1450 and when I tried this out of curiosity LAG, farewell SG, Y had not photograph as they say.
Excellent value for money, comes with hard case of good quality, chrome knob etc ...
Since I even played on a Les Paul Custom 50, well I see no real difference except the price (twice!)
Frankly, y'en who continue to live on their legend without effort ...
Currently the best scraper I had in 32 years of guitar!
