«  Not bad at all »

Value For Money : Excellent
Electric mandolin kit made in China or Korea, height adjustable bridge, tailpiece accepting the strings of guitar or mandolin (loop end and ball end), a micro single coil (neck pickup telecaster type), one tone, one volume .

UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice (D) after a few adjustments to use (it is necessary to replace the nut, or at least strongly to dig it) and it is quite sensitive to the string tension: if we take the tie rods medium or strong, we'll have to play on the truss rod. The instrument is very light, and can be accessed without any worries at the handle. Freight rates are quite low, the sound is good. The microphone is okay too personality, but without buzz or concerns.

SOUNDS

I am of Irish and rock. It does it very well. Through a Fuzz pedal + detune, I make music for Scottish bagpipes, and it sounds.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for over two years, it was my first electric mandolin (and my second string instrument after a mandolin-banjo). I bought it because of import, it was cheap and I wanted to tinker around ... The value is good, but the final quality depends a lot of time as one moves to mount. The only negative (after it has changed the Nut) is that the handle bends when you put a little string to tie strong ... (But why put the ties strong while you play ammplifié, and that weak ties allow bends?).
The value is good (especially when compared to the 300th Kentucky has the same components, but which is already mounted).
I will ever experience with this choice, because I made a 5 string electric mando but I can not look to get rid of it!
