Apogee announces that the MiC and JAM are now compatible with various Apple products when used with Apple’s Lightning to 30-pin adapter.

They are now compatible with the iPhone 5, iPad Mini, iPod Touch (5th Gen.), and iPad (4th Gen.)

The Lightning adapter provides the same digital connection as when connected directly to the 30-pin dock port on previous iPhone and iPad models.

Released February 2012, MiC is a microphone to make a direct digital connection to iPad, iPhone, and Mac. About the size of an iPhone, MiC lets you record a voice or acoustic instrument. For recording electric instruments such as guitar or bass, JAM provides the same connectivity as MiC to iOS devices and Mac.

Apple’s Lightning to 30-pin adapter can be purchased via Apple online or in stores for $29. You can also purchase the Lightning to 30-pin adapter with 0.2m cable for $39.
