Sound Skulptor adds to its 500 Series range a host for one module which is available assembled or as a DIY kit.
The 501 host can transform any 500 module into a standalone unit. It provides +16V and –16V power supplies as well as 48V phantom power and is powered by any 12V continuous source, including batteries.
The box features aux stereo jack connectors for any signal available on the 500 bus (for stereo compressors for instance) and you can combine 501 hosts to build a lunchbox, dual power connectors are available for this purpose.
The 501 host kit includes all the passive components (resistors, capacitors, inductors), active components (diodes, transistors, LEDs, ICs), electromechanical parts (switches, connectors), PCBs, case and hardware as well as a 12V power adapter.
