USE

The handle is very pleasant for the game, very soft, fingers glide perfectly. But it really is very wide (and the strings are really very Paisses, which makes it difficult game the First grip, but it is a 5 string, you should know what we want ...)
The access to acute is rather ais but remember that there are 24 well-espacs boxes ... so in the end stick notes on or before Last Last notes are sometimes difficult to get.
The shape is rather pretty, not too aggressive to be. The weight is well distributed rather, the bass does not swing a cot or another (as long as the maintenance of course ... but it does not tange forward or toward 'rear match). Its weight is suitable, it is neither lightweight nor heavy (I admit I already encountered the bass lgres) and we do not sincerely too much attention to all cot the qualities that Recelle as softness ...
The desired sound is easily obtained on the coffee she even found a Gnral tuning, bass, treble, middle and another quite complex adjustment which manages the frequencies of the middle (middle ), a very interesting rglage sometimes to even get a sound "wah wah".

NB: This bass works with 9V batteries that sometimes change (very simple change, we must unscrew and replace the batteries behind ...), I admit I was surprised the first time : in fact I got a very bad sound, a "ptait" ...

With this bass I t tonemment surprised ... I can get clean sounds like 60s or fatty sounds Mtal type. My amp is a Hartke Kickback 12, I play in a group at Mtal (style In Flames) and punk / rock (style Green day) and in all cases I get to his near-perfect and very large ... on this map is almost irreproachable for a bass that price (I bought mine ... 640). Also apprcieras strings, which offers a very pleasant sound rather base metal (with the settings you can do it disappear course ...) that really pleased me.

I love the rglage the middle frequencies, which offers a variety of his jokes. Personally I really like ca form nor too traditional or too weird. The only complaint I could make would be in terms of colors ... mine is orange, and the other choice and a kind of violet (love it or not ...) we could have esprer of others ...
I have tried various 5-string bass before my purchase, gsr 205, a corte C5q and brand Aurre I can not remember I liked but it was 800, personally it is the Ibanez me the more seduced, she's really very sweet to use (this is awesome, I did not find it in other models tests)
The price quality ratio is very good. To display a low around 600 euros, you get a high-end product with a sound and a more than satifaisante finish. A real bohneur this price!
I do not regret my choice. I confess to not having compar masses with other brands, but the first time I played it in the store I t seduced.

In short, a very good product which one attaches very quickly, you now know what's left to do ...

NB: for the overall opinion, I glad to average 3 ratings ... there is no blame me "cheat" ... if I had really put my opinion, I would have obt for 10 (sentimental value ...)

This bass was my first 5 string. The sound of severe SI is consistent with the rest (which is not given to all low input range)

Purchased new at Daddy's Junky Music for $500.00 (thought it was a good deal)

Great looking bass guitar, neck felt good, very tight low b string, lots of different tones available from the on board preamp configuration.

Intonation does not hold, satisfactory neck adjustments are nearly impossible.

Go to the bathroom, don't flush, look down, and there's your answer.

I have been playing bass guitar for about 14 years, and have never come across such a poorly manufactured instrument. Intonation? This bass does not know the meaning of the word. I have had it adjusted (by a seasoned professional) time and time again, as it did nothing to repair the problem. My advice to anyone that is about to purchase this or any other Ibanez product, AVOID THEM like a bad disease. I have friends that have experienced the same issues with Ibanez, and I would hate to see anyone have the same thing happen to them.
Simply put, IBANEZ Inc. should focus more on the quality of their instruments, and less on the dollar signs.

The handle is enjoyable to play trs, trs soft fingers fit perfectly. But it is really trs large (and the strings are really trs grazed, which makes the game difficult THE FIRST grip, but it's a 5 string, be aware that the one wants ...)

UTILIZATION

The handle is a real highway! trs enjoyable, does not brake at all, just big all the same to the treble but it does not drang more than that as a given that I 'm rarely venture above the 17-18th box . The strings of origin are really well made (elixir), the knobs turn very short, to find a good sound enough to have two hands and c go!

But it is a wonder! She follows me in all styles, whether mtal, salp, rock and wind band . The two active pickups give a fishing and an amazing sound clarity, even the bass string in the ring drops propore. Couple with my Boss ME-50B, I can assure you it makes it really well, distos are powerful without being of the soup, the slap is powerful (the Korn plans has become a pleasure!). I play on a Berhinger BX1200 (that is certainly not a rfnce) and the same precision and the clarity is impressive, and when you give a damn about a Hartke 3500 or Ampeg svt3 you are to angels! The sound is crystal trs, warm and round, with a low base, some Augustinian and mids Azro, c simply nickel. Please note, trs knobs are effective! c h yeah not the style of knobs that are just to fool the uninitiated that you need a diploma to ingnieur to handle a low so there are buttons! No, those are the sensitive and influence a background sound that comes out! Point ngatif to my taste: the two knobs for the rgler mids are so sensitive that they will sound flinguent ds one to touch (only if you have any effects, otherwise it will again) but hey I leave and I am Azro dmerde with pdalier!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for more than 6 months and I'm really convinced! It is a low ployvalente, its really nice with a nickel! some beautiful little dsagrments (the knobs and mids Premire boxes that border), but quickly forgotten as trs the bass is enjoyable to play. Well, I have not tried before normment of MODELS (Fender, Cort, Esp I remember most of prcis MODELS dsl but the BTB really stand out, nothing that has the eye ! Another bassist with whom I have discussed and which had the Beast, silent just as happy as me, so that is a value sre. For 550 Thomann, you have a low rev high quality that rivals really with the Music Man of entry but more than 300. With the exprience, I would do this choice? without hsitations! All a 10!

UTILIZATION

The handle is enjoyable, fairly flat, may be too large for some hands. The balance is low, with size and shape quite impressive. This causes a small loss of the instrument nervosa and weight consquent, but ct massive and close to the body gives you the feeling of having a "quiet force" the turn of the coup (trs reassuring).

I really like the body of this bass, both in appearance gnral by the wood of the table, beautiful (for the price!) (I wanted blue six strings, but n 'silent no longer available in Japan ...)

The knobs are of high efficiency and alter the sound of a Manir decision. It is quite difficult to get the sound for you (very subjective), but offers rich sound palette (may be too)

For the record, I go directly to a amek DMCL, and ... I still can not find the words ... we take the RVer is recorded in a big studio, the sound is prcis fairly pais. However, it lacks a little something indfinissable (probably from the mics Ibanez ...)

OVERALL OPINION

I use this bass for 1 year. I have a SR 800 must be aged 15 and SR 905 with a neck-through. I also used a Tune bass, an Epiphone and a Cort Artisan A5 (not me, the three ...).

I do it again no problem this choice, especially for the price-quality ratio! (I will push on even MODELS BTB1005 if the table had the same appearance as this one, which is not possible because of the handle driver ...)

It's a Korean made bass, the pickups are Ibanez exlent for the rest all is said and down ...

UTILIZATION

CHAC is not in acute hyper simple for me but at the same time it plays on a bass not a jackson king V!! but there are ways to do this for sure ...
It is a relatively heavy bass (walnut forces) but we have fun with that so we quickly forget that little dfault, it is essential to have a good wide strap well because otherwise she slumps as bcp instrument music, well from another point of view it has about the same mouth!

SOUNDS

The sound is all that more correct especially when one compares the price. it is well suited to my style of music which is the base metal, death metal in the Contents may just get a nice distortion thanks to the prempli Intgr metal in any kind of elsewhere because we can Norment to premp combination with the 'APRS well filled with the vector which are made rglages more. I also played a blues rock and this bass'm perfectly all styles, it is versatile trs.

I use depuit 1year and a half with a 160 watt laney hardcore is an EXCELLENT despite prjug filled, those who say otherwise, I invite them to come ssay mine and arflchir the top ...
