Made in Japan
Channel 5 Part Bubinga and Wenge Wenge affects 24 boxes with blue pearl inlay
Body portion 3 has a mahogany table in the front and rear padouk
2 Unmute IBZ/ADX6
Die Cast Bridge 6
Mechanical Gotoh
1 volume knob
A balance button
A double knob and middle frequency
A double bass and treble knob
For me the double knob is super sensitive they deform and quickly saw that I had broken one of the change was a real headache even find the part that
The violin is just the bass protected and treated

UTILIZATION

Super nice round end and access to acute is a must
To adjust the sound system of Vari-Mid is boring when you move a knob the other can move at the same time, so had to be careful
Otherwise the bass is still pretty well balanced and lightweight for 6 strings
The ergonomics of the bass for the slap is not an option the strings are too close between them, after the slap on 6 strings I do not know if it's current setting aside that Bill Dickens 7 string slap on ... this instrument is limited so that finger play

SOUNDS

For me it is a versatile bass in the registry Jazz / fusion, rock / prog metal, this is the top
As against the knob of the Middle / frequency is not easy to understand at first
When the sound is full, round and smooth, the highs are very melodic one would think that with as exotic stringed instruments, the sound is warmer I think it sounds not bleed it dry and it's pretty accurate
I had a Marshall amp B65 replaced with a SWR Super RedHead MULTICOMP + Ebs + Yamaha NE-1 so for me it sounds the fire of god

For story I wanted to change the pickups I found a little soft for a kit for Bartolini won more dynamic, you must know that it is an impossible operation on this bass, the dimensions are not the standard Bartolini was longer narrower and therefore take it as it is in the state

OVERALL OPINION

bought 10,000 francs in import at the time, was unique as the bass 6 strings it had very little competition aside Tobias, Leduc and spanked a Yamaha 6 string findable on Pigalle, it was far from what is found on the market today
For me, the price / quality ratio is a good scam for the price, if it again I would have surely taken a Tobias 6-string bass that was the John Myung during Word & Image, or a Yamaha TRB6 was more expensive but very beautiful, for against the Leduc've ever hung on
Since bass has been sold and sometimes I get news of her and just replay it:)
