The Mosrite Ventures model electric guitar was made in the USA and has two soap box style pick ups. It has volume and tone control knobs as well as a switch to choose the pick up. It also has a Bigsby style whammy bar.

UTILIZATION

The neck of the Mosrite Ventures guitar is really fluid, as the action is always low, making it really easy to play all around the neck, including the really high notes. The shape and overall look of the Mosrite is unique and has become a classic look in terms of electric guitars. One look at this guitar and you know exactly what kind it is, as no other guitar looks like it. The Mosrite is quite light and is lighter than most electric guitars.

SOUNDS

While the sound of the Mosrite Ventures is unique, it is suitable for a number of different types of music. This being said, it is probably best suited for classic rock and surf rock, as that is where this guitar came out of. I usually use this guitar with a '76 Fender Twin Reverb, and find that this guitar sounds best clean, although it does sounds good with a bit of overdrive at all, it just depends what you are trying to do. The inherent sound of the Mosrite is crisp and there is a good amount of control available over your tone.

OVERALL OPINION

I've been using the Mosrite Ventures electric guitar for about five years and have found it to not only be a beautiful looking guitar, but a guitar that is easy to play and sounds great. You can find this guitar in a few different forms, but for the real model it will cost your quite a bit of cash. However, there are some copies that are pretty good and won't cost nearly as much as the original. The Mosrite Ventures electric guitar is unique in a number of different ways and holds its own in the history of electric guitars.
