Although made in China, the model has not suffered from any defects in design except (perhaps) the bridge that seems really light. but it provides very properly his office.
The original pickups, I do not know. Mine (bought used for 170 euros) has been customized with a Seymour Duncan SH4 side bridge and a Bill lawrence side handle. So, despite a relatively light body (wood undefined!), Sounds are very good.
The settings are not the original ones: a classic switch was placed next to the unique setting of the volume.
The handle is very comfortable to play and participate in the slam (typed telecaster) guitar.

UTILIZATION

The handle is very nice and very fast! Access to acute and ergonomics are excellent. Finally I get the sounds are very convincing (and well defined slap!).

SOUNDS

This guitar suits the need which made me bought: owning a guitar with a maple fingerboard for playing funk and blues (music styles in which, in my opinion, it excels). The resulting sounds are typed telecaster custom (model with 2 humbuckers). Property that the strings are not passed, the sustain is very good. In terms of sound, I love all positions of play but I have a small preference for the Bill Lawrence.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 3 months. Bought second hand for 170 euro, it has been customized in terms of sound and staging agree (it has mechanical self-locking). This guitar, to the actual quality of its design, provides a good basis to many customizations. The value for money, up to 200 euros (for the beast is no longer produced and some take advantage, customization or not !...), also remains excellent. It is nevertheless worth remembering that new, this very good guitar store was trading at 150 euros! So let's be realistic ...
