I received my Vicoustic Flexi Lite Screen this morning, and I'm testing with recording voice from my room, acoustically untreated.
I have not tried other models. However, I have been testing the foam's acoustic genre.

Pros:
-It really works for the reflections that are well broken but if you scream too loudly.
-Ease of use
-The quality of the foam
Cons:
"They say you can adjust the height and depth, which is true. However, one thing I was rather disgusted: in depth, we can not settle on just 5cm. With a cardioid, its effectiveness is reduced. If you could go more in depth, lateral thinking would be even more absorbed.
"I would say though" the price ", but I know that acoustic foam quality is expensive.

To also know that this foam can be attached easily to a wall, and serve as basic acoustic treatment. That's a big plus for me.

Regarding the installation is fairly simple, but no, it does not fix in 15 seconds: unscrew the suspension of the microphone, place the screen, tighten the suspension and settle at best.

With experience, I probably would do this election if I had the same budget. Otherwise, I would take a pack of acoustic foam to treat my room completely, or to build me a cab pickups.

Also note that I've recorded a short test, which unfortunately does not say much about the quality of the beast: my room is full and its acoustics are not disastrous. Also, I will register a new test in my hallway, which gives particularly ugly thoughts and audible.

Record crude (I only normalize) to wav and 16-bit uncompressed. The first batch is with the screen, the second is FREE. Even if it does not get along really well I push my voice to the sound is loud enough to reverberate. When I talk normally with the screen, no reflection is audible.

There. Conclusion, then yes, it works fine (and very good for a person not to yell into the microphone), but obviously it does not replace a sound recording booth soundproofed and acoustically treated.

I put 9 / 10: it makes very good job in my opinion.
I will return in some time to update my opinion if it were to change.
