Pedal Chorus / Vibrato / Leslie simulation size expression pedal (same box as the Dunlop crybaby).
An entry in a release out, a 9v power jack.
A switch to change mode (Chorus or Vibrato).
A knob that manages the amount of effect.

Not true bypass, like most mxr / dunlop.

Housing screws are crap, I broke 3 trying to screw the base.

UTILIZATION

The general configuration is simple. Once the mode is selected and the effect on (activation similar to conventional wah), the speed is controlled by the expression pedal. A small adjustment period is necessary compared to the effects of modulation "fixed" type phaser or chorus to control this Rotovibe properly.

SOUND QUALITY

Level of the knob is always thoroughly, and I use 90% of the way "chorus".

If you are looking for a realistic simulation of Leslie, go your way. If this pedal was thought well, it's a failure, but its very special character ended up having his own followers (Zakk Wylde, Jerry Cantrell ...).
It is neither a chorus or a phaser or a vibe, but a bit of everything at once, so it is not always easy to master, but I ended up prefer this to other reports by more conventional effects (phaser, flanger, chorus).

Let me explain: it is clear from this pedal a very dynamic, controllable in real time, you are not locked into a cycle of modulation, and the effect seems to react differently attacks right hand is really very pleasant. I always use a little crunch as its base, so it was very important that the modulation effect does food not once its activated as a chorus sometimes do, for example.

Sound, without being exceptional, is quite good, both in subtle adjustments has pushed back behind a Fuzz.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for 3 months now. I'm not a fan of modulation effects because I tend to find that it affects the quality of a crunch or distortion. This pedal did not so much that impression. The sound is nice, but I can not wait to try the Fulltone vibe already for example. It appears overall impression product fairly standard, and better products must exist for a closer result.

That said, the pedal is engaging, and control the speed up is really a big advantage.
Value for money (120 euros used, the pedal is no longer manufactured) seems honest.

I think I would do this choice.
