This is a multi-effects rack fully oriented reverbs. It has delay, phasers, compressors digital, but there are mostly reverbs.

In a fully digital technology (it even has a set of input - output S / PDIF digital coaxial!), It has jacks for input - output TRS, a set of three and a MIDI jack pedal to control the beast to the pedal.

UTILIZATION

Operation is simpler than the Boss SE-70 I have for ages. Simple instructions and simple editing effects.

In fact, this machine has two effects engines. It's like a M-2 One under the same hood. You can configure these two motors with respect to each other as you want almost. And each engine, one can assign a different effect. That's what I find amazing about this machine - in addition to its reverb, of course ^ ^

Well, I found that the use is a little too simple, I wish I had some options a little further. Such as the ability to adjust the balance pan Each one of two engines: that, we can not do damage.

SOUND QUALITY

I was looking mainly for vocals and reverb, I really have not been disappointed. Well, these are all just the same color despite its there and it hast several types, I find a shame. But hey, other than that, they are bluffing! The delay is very accurate too. For the rest, blah ... The phaser, for example, is particularly cold and metallic. Well, of course, it depends: it may very well go to the music we do!

OVERALL OPINION

For reverb and delay (but especially for reverbs!), I would not change for anything! For other effects, I would need another effects processor, one of those days.

It's been since December 2001 I have and unfortunately, the buttons are a bit fragile and those who perform the functions and ENTER EXIT (that is to say, the most frequently used: no ENTER button, it is unusable) broke, inside, barely six years after its purchase, and I bought it new. In addition, it has just let me go (it will not turn on!) In March 2008 is only seven years after purchase! Yet I rarely used it - I will not record the song every day, I'm more in electronic music! Once every six months, no more! I removed to try to repair it (change the fuse, for example, that I can do myself) without success but it gave me the opportunity to see how it is built inside: the construction is incredibly complicated and illogical. First, you need to star screwdriver to open it, which is not really run, and then to go inside, what complications! You really dexterity and ingenuity to get where we need to go! Many waste of time because of that for nothing since it does not work. It's not the fuse: do not know why she dropped me, no trace of burning or anything that has melted, nothing. It will take so that I find myself another box effects, because the price or it can be found for sale (190 euros in March 2008), it is not worth the trouble to repair. Too bad because it reverbs were really good ... The Little Boss SE-70, I have for much longer and it still works, it? ^ ^

Most of this equipment:

Reverbs, obviously

The delay

The input-output S / PDIF digital (!!!)

TRS jacks

Those under this unit:

A little too simple, too driven, too bad

Other effects: blah, just cold ...

Buttons fragile

Obviously, I can not make the same choice because of the fragility of the buttons and since I quit. It's a shame because the reverbs, I repeat, are really good ... Well, I'll take the opportunity to take in the range above. Indeed, I will take instead the TC Electronic FireworX a multi-effects rather for the sound designer (a bit that I got for that matter). After what just arrived in the M-One, I have to dare to take the same brand because I do not know any other multi-effects the same kind as the FireworX. I hope they have made progress since, especially at this price! The FireworX is listed at 712 euros currently used (March 2008) but it seems it's worth it ^ ^

Another variant of this model:

TC Electronic M-One XL: same model but with input - output XLR jack instead of symmetrical
