SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
I use it mainly on two G4 and performance are very good. All times on the Macbook, Tiger was the installed version by default. I Snow Leopard prefers for its fluidity.
If it is not very stable and less winded than Leopard. The OS can run with 256MB of memory, but 1GB bring much comfort.
I use it mostly on a G4 Dual 1.25 GHz with 2GB of RAM and it's perfect.
OVERALL OPINION
For some years I use. It's getting very old and unusable over time. On an Intel Mac it is always possible it install Firefox and Flash, which makes it usable on the Web, but it is very difficult or impossible with a PPC.
I put the note for use in 2013, which has little interest, except when you want to keep the old PPC for one reason or another.
