Iconic Sound, new British company, will introduce at NAMM 2014 a new optical analog guitar cable called The Light Lead.
The Light Lead is an analog guitar cable that uses optical fibre with a patent-pending technology. According to the manufacturer, optical fibre fixes transmission issues commonly found on standard guitar cables, such as capacitance, interferences, high frequency losses…
Iconic Sound also suggests that this technology could be extended to other applications, such as microphone cables, headphones, loudspeakers…
The Light Lead cable uses a small diameter optical cable covered with PVC, with an electro-magnetic shielding.
The Light Lead cable will be introduced on January 23rd at Hall C, booth 4594 at Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim. More details, such as price, are expected soon at www.iconicsound.com.
