This is a solid body guitar that sounds like an acoustic guitar. It works well for any playing style. The workmanship is impeccable. I have rather small hands and the neck is what I would consider mid-sized. It has an active pickup located in the bridge. The EQ consists of volume and tone control. This is one of my favorite guitars due to the nature of the sound, unlike any other guitar. It works well with any music genre. Unfortunately, they are no longer made as Chet Atkins left Gibson shortly thereafter and returned to Gretsch.
