I do not know what the audience at the output of the product was but I think it really should not stop with the name.
In theory it includes several pedals in one: analog distortion, "dou" is a short delay and chorus. If I understand correctly, except for the distortion is the digital. The chorus does not sound like her sisters or CE2 CE3.
UTILIZATION
Purchased used, without manual obviously, for once it might have been useful but not essential. I quickly found very convincing sounds distortion. I am a little fun with the other effects. Except on very targeted piece, I think they serve me very little.
SOUND QUALITY
The distortion is the strong point of this pedal. Perfectly usable. Other effects seem a bit gimmicky but not uninteresting. The potential "downside" is the digital effects, clearly worse than the distortion. The chorus seemed little typed compared to my boss CE3.
OVERALL OPINION
I bought a few months ago, mainly out of curiosity, for the rarity, the look and because I found in it (too) expensive.
I still watched several videos on Youtube to realize the sonic possibilities. Tested with Epiphone Les Paul korea, Jackson King V ToneZone / Seymour Duncan SH2 and Jackson RR, Hughes & Kettner amp on attax 100. I'm not disappointed.
This pedal is unknown (blame his strange name?), It a terrible look and sound great in the distortion mode, usable and easy to adjust. I consider the other effects as a bonus.
Finally I used more often than my DS1 and DS2 Metal Zone. It is very hard to find, sometimes it is proposed a predatory pricing, as is often the pedals made in japan. The price of the scarcity surely. It's a shame because it would allow more people to test it.
