«  A unique effect »

It is an overdrive / saturation / fuzz, with the possibility of a preset setting in addition to "manual".
Connection Classic 1 in / 1 out and a standard 9v power supply for. Note that it uses a lot for a pedal of this type, but it's still analog, is not reached 250/300 mA usual large digital pedals.
With all these knobs, it throws enough, especially as the production seems very very serious, outside and inside. Something surprising: it is lightweight!

UTILIZATION

So NO, the overall configuration is not simple. The idea of this is to pedal three parallel circuits distortion: overdrive, saturation and fuzz. Each of these channels has its own settings for gain, volume and a toggle switch to select a filter frequency. Then, the three signals, you have "balanced" through their respective volume settings are mixed and a three-band eq can be applied to the overall signal. Note that the behavior of the potentiometer mediums is conditioned by a toggle switch with three positions. So, we see immediately that the possibilities are almost endless, especially the knobs are effective over their entire race, with a good range.

SOUND QUALITY

Regarding sound quality, I did not find my account. The effects are quite neutral and relatively lack of character. Taken individually, the effects do the job, nothing more. Here's where it gets downright interesting is when we mix all three together, then for once, we get a pretty interesting grain. But the drawback is that you really spend the time and then I guess it works well on a good amp (which I did not ...).
It should also spend time editing the preset one available. In fact, internal switches allow you to select which of the three overdrives are activated when the preset switches. So, it means we can have three preset manual with overdrive in parallel, and the preset 1 with eg single overdrive. The thing is that unless you bend down to change the volume on the pedal, you can end up with a significant decrease in volume when switching this preset, since from three channels in parallel to a single channel. Therefore spend time to find the correct setting that lets you go from preset to preset 1 manual without significant change in volume. Frankly, this type of research, I was quickly inflated :/

OVERALL OPINION

I used it for a few months, but in the face of her girlfriends pedalboard, she was so often unused as I separated.
Objectively, I think this is a (very) good pedal, but not for me. It should delight those who are taken into the studio, because of its relatively unique approach and the multiplicity of possible settings.
