Etymotic ER-20

The Etymotic ER-20 are a set of universal fit ear plugs, designed for uses of all types. I have used the ER-20s during concerts as well as during band practices. I should say that I no longer use the ER-20s even though I still own them, as I have upgraded to a pair of custom fit Westone ES49 ear plugs. However, I did use the ER-20s frequently for a few years before getting my custom fit plugs. The ER-20s served me well in the time that I used them, as they did a good job of blocking out sound and were pretty comfortable to wear overall. The should fit well into just about anyone's ears, as I never had a problem getting them to fit comfortably. The only thing that I don't like about the way they fit is that they stick pretty far out of your ears while they are in there, which is more annoying than anything else. The ER-20s come with a small case as well as a piece of string to hold them together, which I never had a need to use. While the ER-20s do a decent enough job of blocking out sound, you can't hear everything all that well while they are in. So beyond just wanting a more comfortable set of ear plugs, the main reason that I got custom fit plugs was because they are much better at making it so you can actually hear what is going on around you, just at a much lower volume. So while the ER-20s will do the job for blocking out sound, if you're a musician or a frequent concert attender, I'd recommend spending some money to get proper hearing protection where you will be able to still hear all of the individual components of a sound. However, if you're just looking for some cheap ear plugs I'd definitley recommend the Etymotic ER-20s as the first place to look...

So not only you pay less and in addition it is the original!
Patents are Etymotic, recognized brand that uses this system on a floor monitor.

Otherwise, there is indeed a world of difference between the foam and these plugs.
Means less strong without much altering the frequencies.
The only ones who do best are molded and cost hundreds of dollars ...
So do not hesitate!
Plan and also foam in addition, if the sound will be way too strong.

I almost became deaf in one ear after a Korn concert in Toulon with the most rotten that I heard in my life, without caps, of course, so do not play with it ... after it is too late ...

I bought these plugs in audilo there for 9 months francofolies. They are infinitely better than the foam plugs between the donns free concerts.

I find them comfortable, although my ear canals are relatively strait.
They are cutting back a bit in the treble but personally suits me because they had frquences m'agressent fast enough. So the lack of lightweight linares these plugs I have no problem.
If we find the rduction a little too strong, it is always possible to draw some of the plugs (they do not fall) to some of its rcuprer.

I am glad trs regardless of the style of music.
I find the report quality / price trs good and I dj advice from others to make the same choice.

I needed to buy quickly because the new attenuators band plays hard.
I looked at the web and I found that a first test for this type of caps would be nice, and the cost-to-measure still expensive.
I found a shop on the internet and I paid 16.97 euros with the small string, a small storage box flexible and convenient shipping included (shipping within 48 hours by mail).

I have for a week and the first repeat, you really get used to it, it is not obvious.
They are very efficient, reduce greatly and it is true that it seems to be acoustically protected. They do not hurt the ears and fit very well, it's silicone pout, so it's soft.
on the other hand, side of the coin, the sound is not the same. You do not hear "aggressiveness" of my amp and I have less feeling to play: so you need a bit of experience to use and enjoy.

Recommend, because after 3 or 4 hours of music, you have no brain buzzing and you can rest easy after.
For the price, and given the choice I would do without hesitation.
That's why I put 10/10.
