Making use of floating platforms that contain a perforated l-shaped plastic piece that acommodates a blade, magnet, screws and springs, one can acheive string balance.
The design is that of a single-coil with the coil attached to the inside of the now modified pickup cover.
The platforms are both offset and overlapping.

Wheras the immediate application is that of electric instruments, and others that can flush-mount the design, the potential can be seen when one suspends the pickup and can take on the violin family.

Being that the design is electromagnetic, you can amplify almost every known stringed instrument, without feedback.
