«  OCD: Downright Outrageous Orgasm ... »

Value For Money : Excellent
Overdrive distortion of another world that combines flexibility with both worlds. Classic at the controls: Volume, Tone, Gain and a switch LP / HP changing the grain and especially potatoes of this great pedal resourceful. A 9v power supply / 18v, for my part, I have only tried the 9v but it tells in the small world of Fulltone it work better 18v. Robust metal casing, it smells good build quality all ...

UTILIZATION

Distos generally just a few minutes to find the sound, and there, it is similar, except that you may find more sounds. Juggling the switch HP / LP, the drive and tone, it seems to have several pedals. Excellent value for money I would say!

SOUND QUALITY

SOUND: how to say? good. Not very good. no, excellent. or rather insane ... Anyway, remain objective, it is the sound I wanted. Warm overdrive, creamy, round, natural or bright, snapping the neck pickup of the strat, transparent to perfection, waterlogged harmonics sublime notes ... or edgy distortion with the peculiarity of being very clean, well defined and with good dynamics (HP mode) or darker in LP. This is not a distortion HI gain, far from it, but with another overdrive upstream, we get more gain for solos "easy." Just before (in the chaining) I have a Vox Ice 9, and a MXR GT OD.

OVERALL OPINION

I deliberately avoided the subject of versions (V1 2 3 or 4) for a simple reason is that I did not understand these stories versions, especially because I do not know what my version I do not care. the key is to have the sound you search, despite the opinions of each other. I just bought this pedal, and frankly, I took a big blow. My other distos are now in a closet because I find that it does not have the level of OCD. Unless it's the OCD that has a level superior to others ...
