Ibanez POD-1 Dcp Overdrive/Distortion

Overdrive / distortion analog digital programming from the mid 80s. Plastic case not very reassuring with LCD, taken In, Out and Dry Out, plus a minidin socket for a sync box and MIDI adapter for all pedals in the series.

UTILIZATION

SOUND QUALITY

The EQ settings are not very progressive but are effective. Adjusting the treble frequency is more that needs to be tamed a bit and is not very intuitive.
The gain range goes almost to clean virtually distortion. Reserve volume is correct.

On the ground, it is very effective, both for the clean bend a saturated channel. I love that when it low, I served. Plus you can cut if you want.

The only complaint I could make him is a slight lack of midrange or downright setting mediums.

OVERALL OPINION

Found last year by miracle on Eb ... Spain, it is part of my collection now consistent OD and permanent resident of my pedalboard. It is a sound I was looking for a long time. The ability to have multiple sounds in memory is a real plus. I was still a little scared her off my one of these four.

The worry is that this pedal is very rare. Fortunately, I found a pedal that it closely resembles both in its level settings. This is the Way Huge Green Rhino, though not programmable.

I did not pay much less than 100 € including shipping. At this price, you only have 2/3 of a contemporary TS9. As for the comparison, ha ha ...
