I since October 2013 uses MAUI28 for a jazz quartet with acoustic drums, electric bass, guitar, saxophone and vocals.
We used two Yamaha DSR115 previously also with a very good record but too "impressive" for small places.
The MAUI28 is very quickly installed, a good record of sound and sound diffusion (120 °). Less presence than two DSR115 recess but very effective in restaurants and bars where aesthetics goes well and reassures ... The sound is clear and the box captures the electric bass.
Happy with our choice, but we have not pushed the power.

I have acquéri these systems there is little ... I have three. I used a 3000 budget of just € 28 for three maui, 4500 euros euros were needed for two Boses systems v2 b2 match box and tone. . .
Being a fan of sound I had in my hands a lot of systems. You can not compare the maui28 with a traditional system, the report is not at all the same ... Do not compare the characteristics of maui28 with a traditional system. The head of Maui is 200w, I could never sound to a room with a rcf 200 watts and there is however possible!
I use it for a duo / trio with electronic drums, accordion / synth, guitar and vocals. The sound spreads everywhere and is not aggressive at all.
The bass is there but do not go down too, small box and small boomer ...
With both installed stereo systems I have to sound to almost 500 people. People can talk to pregnant without having your ears. The sound is faithful.
I also dj weddings in and the result is stunning for a system like this ...
I highly recommend the 28 ld maui, because we not mention the weight ratio clutter! nickel!
The box is a little heavy but it will anyway.
There is no live conccurents this product.
Finally, this is the first time that customers do not complain that the sound is too loud so that you can hear everywhere!!

What is so special that you love the most, least?
I mount and use are childish it takes a little force to fit the satellite on the box but I think over time it will get better
it just plug and adjust the overall volume and the bass to make it sound

I confess I was afraid that serious are just a little but I was not disappointed at all that I swore by my lukas 1000 I find that the quality of Egues and bass is excellent.
I bought two systems from Thomann for the stereo. € 855 to cover the system with cable and it's really huge. I recommend buying the truck is sold 80 € while I found a home for casto € 19.
small problem that some say just go back to placing the system behind personal hello and I tried the feedback so maybe I had the wrong place but in my opinion unless playing at a very low volume I n 't believe it.

I did try the Bose L1, because y 'is not a ton of this stuff, so I can compare that with the Bose L1.

It's not complicated, it's sound quality level as well as an L1 last generation with two subwoofer, which all must cost in Euro 3000!

At the beginning I intended to start on a compact L1, which costs a little more expensive, and fortunately I discovered this product, because the quality issue and its power is much higher.

Not to mention the quality of material, the L1 is too beucoup plastoc to my taste, it's the beefy! Nothing to do.

I'm not trying to denigrate Bose, but frankly I do not know if their monopoly on this type of sound, which makes their prices, but it is very very expensive, it will be necessary to review a lower.

For other similar products, there is the virtues of FBT series, the K Array KB1, I do not know, I have to Fbt I know it's good, it must surment do but it is more expensive , same for the KB1.

I test my guitar 1M50 up to 12 meters, with all the odds, bluffing and that the sound is very clear is defined egal.evidamment when battery is in the axis of the column is slightly stronger (like the Bose).

I'll be right to find the frequency medium was removed for my guitar, and the sound is crazy like I was without a microphone, sometimes I even take away from my front, to check, so j 'had the impression to be acoustic.
My guitar luthier is perfectly restored, and it has a micro 150E and 260E has a table.
