Prolifts S.L. have released the new TL-A450, presented for the first time at Prolight & Sound in Frankfurt last month. The new line array lift is the third and largest in the TL-A series of VMB line array lifters.
The TL-A450 lifts 450kg (992 lb) to a height of 6m (19.7’). The masts are manufactured from aluminium and the product includes the ALS (Auto Lock Security) system, a safety feature which automatically locks the lift masts as they rise. Steel outriggers and base as well as lateral support bars are designed to add further security and stability to the lift. A line array can be loaded at half a metre from the lift’s main body, enabling the array to be curved to achieve the desired coverage angle.
The Spanish company claims that a line array can be rigged up and lifted in less than 15 minutes. Also available in the TL-A line array series are the TL-A220 (220kg) and the TL-A320 (320kg).
