I took advantage of the promotion outlet to buy half price. This is a plugin to buy directly from VirSyn internet.

I wanted to test this product because I like the apps on Iphone VirSyn (which are quite addictive funky synth for example).

I was looking for a small plug to thicken voice choirs do so. The opportunity to play on the formants to feminize or masculinize the basic sound interested me too. This generates four voice pitch shifter that can work independently (pan, height, and forming speed).

This is not a harmonizer, the heights generated remain fixed.

I struggled a lot with the installation. First because I had not realized he needed a USB elicencer (which adds 23 euros more) and then to find the file vst. But it's usually me who have not been very insightful on this one.

Virsyn helped me out over the Internet quickly and very effective (so much for the VAS).

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

Performance at nothing to say but good things go my PC is pretty beefy (excuse me this is not me who came up so I do not know what's inside but it's big).

OVERALL OPINION

The overall result is disappointing. This works fine if you stay in the settings but when we measured is in the extreme (high or forming) there are stalls and the sound becomes very synthetic. It's pretty regular on this kind of product. The plug in the IRCAM air much more powerful but this is not the same price either.

In conclusion, it can be used on special effects, a light dubbing voices but I'll keep experimenting.

I hope the updates will advance this type of product.

I find this plug a bit expensive at full price (180 €).
