For me this is a joke, if you want to work unusable seriously!
I plug my TV in my Fireface 800, put the plug on my track and I the worst guitar sound I've ever heard.


NOTICE GLOBAL

I have long worked with a Pod XT and it is far better, even incomparable.
All ik multimedia plugins I use the Ampeg passing about ...
But then I found this one shabby. I have a friend who has it and it is of the same opinion.
I have a max of breath, the sound is loud, I recognize not my guitar, which is a wonderful TV custom shop, malgrès settings testing the sound is really rotten.
I recommend to potential buyers of this horror rather buy a pod farm amp or so I have not tested but should be much better than the "product" of which we speak here.
That I do not lose more time to decry this lousy plugin Ik multimedia.

Amplitube Fender is an expansion pack for IK Multimedia Amplitube. With the introduction of Amplitube Custom Shop, individual amp models in this package can be purchased separately rather than as a bundle.
IKM Amplitube is a software plug-in that can be used inside a DAW, and can also be used as a stand-alone plug-in.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

The range of Fender amplifier simulations goes beyond anything else available on the market. I love the sound of the 'small' Fender amps in this bundle (Deluxe, Pro Junior, Champ). The mid-sized amps (Twin, Deluxe Reverb, Vibro-King, Vibroverb) are the best parts of the bundle. I consider these kind of amps to be the quintessential Fender amp sound. If you want modeled versions of this kind of amp sound, this package is the way to go. Don't bother with - Guitar Rig 5, OverLoud THD, Pod Farm 2, Eleven. I consider the Fender Bassman to be in a separate class of its own. The 4x10 cabinet simulation in AT3 for the Bassman is the best compared to all the other competitors.
What surprised me the most about this software was the heavy-sounding amps. I don't really consider Fender to be known for amps with a lot of drive/distortion. I normally think Marshall, Mesa-Boogie, Bogner, etc. when I want overdrive. The Fender Super Sonic and Metal Head were surprisingly unique, and a nice change of pace compared to other types of these amps. The Metal Head is definitely extreme gain, but has a unique voicing compared Mesa-Boogie and Bogner. The Super Sonic can cover a full range of amp sounds from clean - extreme. I like this amp best for the mid-gain settings comparable to Marshall, Matchless, etc.

OVERALL OPINION

Fender Amps are some of the most popular and most recorded amps from the past 50 years. I'm glad Fender decided to go ahead and have an entire range of their amps modeled rather than just the Twin and 4x10 Bassman that are staples of every amp software.
It is a lot of fun to play through these amp sims because their sound is so familiar. I typically play rock music, so I usually want the sound of a Marshall or Mesa-Boogie with a little bit more gain than a Fender Twin. However, I will always have a soft-spot for the Fender clean amp sound because my uncle gave me a '72 Silverface Bassman 100 when I first start playing guitar. With amp sim software, it is so cheap to get so many different amp sounds. To me, these Fender amp sounds are essential to any producers/engineers collection.

Installation without any difficulty. The difficulty (relative) is at the level of authorization, which must be done online and I process this kind of stuff myself ...

I have not had to deplore incompatibility. When the manual, it honestly feels no real need since we are on familiar ground. The settings are those found on an amp, or effects, whether racks or pedals.

I have a large configuration (Intel Xeon Quad Core 2.8 Ghz x 2) is no particular problem. But I think Amplitube Fender is not too resource hungry. I never had to mourn crash in Stand Alone and integration into the DAW (Cubase, Reaper, Logic) is no problem.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this app for at least three years. I must say that I'm almost the whole series of Amplitube (3 Amplitube, Ampeg 2, ExGear). I tried almost everything that is done in this area. I also tried just about all emulations that exist in sequencers (Cubase, Logic, Digital Performer) and I must say that Amplitube series is by far the most convincing and effective.
For the record, Fender has been involved in the emulation of Fender amps. I must say that the result is quite impressive. You plug the guitar, you set a Bassman, a Twin Reverb or Deluxe, and the feeling is strong. The sound is powerful, the feeling of being responsive to one of these gems Fender is there.
Amplitube Fender is particularly effective insert guitar track in a mix and brings a special dimension to the guitar. The effect is stunning. iKmultimédia also consider including a gaggle of effects pedals and racks, but came to produce all kinds of effects.

The best: I feel like chang es lamps amps ... Dfine everything is better, clearer and more serious and warmer ... I make may be having a compression legalization parallle cosmtique but then it is very well done. in addition there are three effects that j'aprcie particulirement: blender, a distortion which we say, when hear that yours! It's like they did on a given disk, tape echo and the compressor rack with butter. The least ... alone the park effects would be somewhat short but complment AmpliTube 2 and I'm pretty quiet JHendrix. In terms of simulation softwares I tried a lot of things, the best quality price is necessarily FreeAmp, but since I am using AmpliTube I do that to him. The pack is quite a boost fender. The ratio quality price is ok if you do a crossgrade or promo IK ... I do not regret my choice.

I use Amplitube Fender only with keyboards (Rhodes, Clavinet VST), and frankly (apart from consumption

Yes, although I originally bought this app for my Receptor and once again, its not working,
it's a very nice program, very close to the player, I do not regret at all

Everything works fine with no latency and no bug on my old config based Hoontech XP.

OVERALL OPINION

First I should say that I have all the Amplitube (Hendrix, live, metal, v2, xgear) and I have chosen to advise on this one because I think it's by far the best . In addition to playing with the interface of a Vibroverb or a bassman in front of the eyes ... excellent!

The sound is really close to what I get with my Laney VC15 tube in his very saturated fuzz + (I am the drone / doom, so I have an idea saturation issue). The amp is very Metalhead successful, it falls far into the grave without sounding digital spectrum, which is almost odd for a transistor amp emulation <img class="smiley" src="https://fr.audiofanzine.com/images/audiofanzine/interface/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt="wink" /> For grain rounder, I use the Bassman, which is probably the amp I would use to replace my Laney if I had the place and under. Amplitube Metal much better in my opinion, which however is supposed to emulate the big stacks all lamps mesa, marshall, etc.. Will understand.

For other emulations, I love Vibroverb, another amp I would have if I had the place and under, and the Champion 600, I have one and it is convincing.

If you go to the site of AmpliTube, you will see an A / B comparison of all the amps and their virtual counterpart. Consider that of the First metalhead https://www.ikmultimedia.com/fender/videodemo/index.php?movie=10 this video is not far from the fraud, though: too with unlimited means I can do sound anything like anything else. Then the guy he plays on a Start (I feel that a VG but I see no good), y 'why metalheads who play on Start? Really? Except that Richard Menga on Youtube? Full. Since the first version of ReValver, in fact (it sounded fucking digital, that thing there). It is much better than Guitar Rig 3 in my ears.

How would you rate the quality / price?
Most excellent, especially with the Stealth Pedal. Against by the IO controller stomp a bit expensive for what it is I think.

A final comment: sounds like the amps are pretty close to true (at least for those I know or have tried), C makes you a good way to test inexpensively whether a particular model is suitable for you would come out, including testing the effects on it ...

The installation was without problem. Stand alone mode does not work for me. I have not tried to understand why, but I do not use it like that.
I'm not thrilled with the interface. I think Guitar Rig is better from this point of view l.
I have not opened the manual and I do not know if there even is one.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

At operation gnral, I have no worries but I have a powerful computer trs no worries latency (- 5 ms).

OVERALL OPINION

I just have it and spent several nights to try it. I've tested before and Guitar Rig 3 Revealver. I find the sound excellent gnral for all sounds clear and crmeux. With some heat lamps in the reproduction. The simulation of the effects is out of this world including the phaser. Another nice thing is that now IK Multimedia is offering a free additional software. I chose Amplitube Jimi Hendrix (live the sixties).

By comparing all the apps I think is as follows:
- Revealver (the entire collection of peavey amp) is really stunning in terms of sounds but ism management problmatique breath and I encountered a lack of tails on DEFINITIONS notes sometimes drool a little.
- Guitar Rig 3 is very well at the interface / user / comprhension / number of possible effects but the sounds are a bit cold and numrique,
- Amplitube Fender is pretty damn bad in terms of interface even if you understand how it works trs quickly but we must choose what we see (amp effects pedals). By trs against it nice to see real amp on his head (did RVer and travel). At his I think it's a killing. There will always crincheux to say that with a real amp and pa pa ta ti ta ta. Personally I think it comes close to perfection. As part of a record is IDAL. I am convinced that many pro registration will be from this software even if people do not shout from the rooftops.
We can play a lot of style with this set and return to the sounds of artists like Rory Gallagher, Dire Straits, Chuck Berry, Brian Setzer, David Gilmour, etc. ...

Getting started is a breeze. Pop the disc in, install it, and authorize it, run it. It's just an effect after all. It's a very simple plugin too. You have a lot of options but they are all very easy to understand. The hardest parameters are probably the ones reguarding the individual effects, like compression, if you don't have experience with it. 4 screens: effects, amp, mic, racks. All very intuitive if you're a guitarist. Still easy if your not.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

It is one of my more CPU intensive effects. Not that it's that bad but it will take up more than an EQ or reverb. I run a Gateway 2.0GHz dual core, 2GB RAM computer. I've been using it for over a year. It is a stable plugin. Never had problems with it crashing. Works fine on Windows XP.

OVERALL OPINION

It is really as good as you make it. By that I mean you need a good guitar sound running through it to really get a good tone. It's got everything you need to make a good guitar but you just got to work with the effects, pedals, mics, amps, etc to get what your looking for. To help out they have a ton of presets which are usually what I use and then make simple tweaks to them. I don't think it's as good as a live guitar if your running a guitar vst through it but it's a close second. RealStrat + Amplitube Fender beats out G1 Electric Strum any day.

I'd definatly make the choice to buy it again. I would take a look at all of the Amplitube plugins and find the one that is right for you. I've only tried Fender but I'm sure they are all quality products.
