installing this program could not be easier, follow the instructions and go!
for the general configuration, we have, by presenting a classic SVT amp head, and in the upper right corner, there are 4 rectangles on light blue background; "tuner" (to agree) "amp" (to select his amp) "Stomp" (to choose his or her effects pedals) and "cab" (to choose his cabinet).
you can adjust the input level and its instrument (which may be useful for those who love the natural saturation) and the output level with the bass sound (for a given height).
the other settings, for sure, there are, but I'm just using this program as a plug-in VST in Ableton Live 8 and, sometimes, simply by plugging in to my fun with all the heads Amp, pedals (and there!) and pregnant ...
I have not encountered any compatibility issues.
with a certain version, I have no manual .... so I can not say if it is clear or not.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
my computer processor of 3.2 GHz with 1GB memory, no internal sound card, I use the TonePort UX2 and line6 is pretty good, I'm very happy!
I never crashed with this program (and besides, I did plant a super rare!) and then I turn on XP ....
the software works fine, no latency issues.
for those who have; install asio for all, here goes much better after ...
I can not quantify its performance, I care a little about this issue there ...
OVERALL OPINION
It's been a 3 or 4 months that I use and I tried the sound modules of low TonePort UX2 called "gearbox" sounds are not terrible compared to Ampeg SVX.
I love the most, the bass sounds of the SVT 4 PRO, all pedals, simple configuration and intuitive that I can use it in Ableton Live 8 as VST plug-in.
I like the least and some bass sounds ...
I love the sound of Ampeg SVX and his ampeg generally, and in fact, I just bought it not long ago, a B-100 R and I am very happy ; what I miss is a good microphone to record sound directly from the amp, I've always been a proponent of this method to have a true bass sound, but then with ampeg SVX, c ' is really good, you will provide you buy a whole collection of amps are legendary for having a bass sound that takes the road!
