The manual is not very helpful because, despite the large number of settings available, the interface is clear and everything is explicit.
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
No problem (Mac Pro, Digital Performer.) CPU consumption very moderate.
OVERALL OPINION
I use this plug for about two and a half years.
In fact, it is hard to imagine that it is not possible to do with this matter echo EchoBoy. First, there are four modes (Single Echo Dual Echo, Ping Pong and Rhythm Echo - the latter for rehearsals irregular, or "dancing".) In all modes, we can apply the swing. Otherwise also the usual settings, we of course filters (LPF, HPF) and also saturation. But the most interesting is the "Styles" (éditables.) If you open the editor, there is a very complete equalization stage and many adjustments to sculpt the sound of our response. Fortunately, there are thirty-two preset styles, all good characteristics, which can deal with most situations with classic sounds (eg digital or analog) and other more "destroy".
Well, it is clear that this plug-in is not what is cheaper. But the extent of its capabilities to cover all the needs that we can have an echo, and the quality and realism of its incredible sounds, it is worth every Euro price. Two years later, I am still pleased with this acquisition ..
