The Audio Damage Bitcom is available

Audio Damage announces the availability of Bitcom, a bit crusher driven by a step sequencer for Mac OS X and Windows.

Bitcom features a bit crusher driver by a 16 step sequencer that can sync to the host DAW and includes a swing function. Each step has eight switches that turn individual bits on and off. So all 8 switches on, and the output is pretty much like the input.

Bitcom also includes a simple monophonic synth that can either be always on, envelope driven, or controlled via MIDI. This is mixed with the input signal to create strange new sounds. Alternatively, Bitcom can be used without any input at all, as a moderately capable synth.

Bitcom is available in AU and VST formats on Mac OS X and Windows for US $39. You can listen to audio demos on
