[NAMM] Phonic Powerpod SF Series

Phonic unveiled the Powerpod powered mixers at the Winter NAMM show with one-touch feedback eliminator and SD Card recorder/player.

The 'SF' Powerpods incorporate both feedback elimination and an SD card playback and recording device.

The Powerpod SF mixers come with onboard one-touch feedback silencer designed to "intelligently search and destroy feedback."

Each of the Powerpod SF mixers incorporates a total of 12 feedback eliminating filters; eight set to seek out and lock onto feedback frequencies, while another four dynamically seek and destroy feedback.

Phonic also added a recording and playback device to the new Powerpod SF series. Normally, users would have to connect an external device to the RCA outputs or another line-level output to record your gigs. Phonic eliminates the need for any external devices with an SD card reader/writer included on the face on the mixer, the company says.

With the Phonic's SD card recorder, users’ entire rehearsal or gig can be recorded and played back at a later date, or transferred to your computer and burnt onto CD.
