As described by EBS is a little Swiss army knife of bassist:
2 channel preamp, one for low passive
EQ with several filter
Overdrive

Possible supply 9V, 9V adapter (not supplied), 48 V phantom XLR
2 foot switches allow you to switch from one track to another and cut the sound.
In short, it makes a lot more things and does them well!
UTILIZATION
The instructions are very basic, but the use is fairly intuitive, so no worries.
The settings are quite sensitive, you immediately feel the difference, so it must go smoothly with the knobs if you do not want to get sounds "extreme".
In summary, we obtain easily and quickly the desired sound.
SOUNDS
Excellent complement to a low passive attack allows the amp with a more appropriate level and without background noise.
The sound can range from very clear, without any alteration to the punchy overdrive well through all intermediaries. I have not yet explored all the possibilities, but what I tried suits me perfectly!
The simulator provides a small tube nice color.
I use the Microbass II with an Epiphone Viola, is the perfect companion for this kind of passive bass.
My amp is an Ashdown MAG 300 EVO II + pregnant MAG 410T Deep, no worries.
This is quality material, the sound is very clean, no noise, short of serious!
OVERALL OPINION
I am just starting to use it, not too much recoil.
This is my first external pre-amp for bass, before I used the integrated head Ashdown MAG 300 EVO II lacked gain for a passive bass.
I made this choice by looking very positive reviews from users, and I did not find any equivalent product from the competition.
I like everything about this pedal: quality material and sound, numerous features. It's really the little box to do everything and much more!
Price level is not given, not far from 300 €, but reported to the quality and all product features, I consider it justified. Either there is less and less good or better but much more expensive (like Alembic FB-2).
I do not regret any of this purchase, the Microbass It really makes a lot of services and EBS is serious. I would do this choice without hesitation.
