TC Electronic introduced at AES an update for its System 6000 mkII processor with new algorithms and presets.
This System 6000 mkII update is intended for professionals who wish to use the processor for mastering, broadcasting, post-production or music production.
42 algorithms are now available, with stereo and multichannel reverbs, delays, chorus, phasers, MD3 and MD4 multiband compressors an Brickwall Limiter 2 for mastering, the Matrix 88 eight-channel digital summing mixer, LM6 Loudness Radar Meter, MDW HiRes EQ (developed for George Massenburg), the VariPitch 8 ad Toolbox 5.1 for surround productions and more.
Among the new processors, you’ll find the new AM6 Annoyance Radar Meter (TASA standard compliant), an algorithm which was previously only available in TDM format for Pro Tools and designed for commercials and movie previews. Also new is the UnWrap HD stereo or LtRt to 5.1 surround upconverter, with specific presets for different music genres, ambiance and dialog.
These new algorithms are bundled in 4 licences: the Music 6000, Mastering 6000, Broadcast 6000 and Film 6000. The first three are already available, the Film 6000 will be released in November.
