What connections (audio, MIDI ...)?

mine is a kit version, a midi in, midi out 1. The plant model has four MIDI outputs. Taking Din / Sync.

- What are the characteristics of the sequencer? ...

8 tracks, 32 buttons, not 16 (bcp + if enchaine patterns), song mode, 384 patterns, programming in analog style sequencer. Multiple meanings of reading, Possibility of using it as an LFO, step modulator, arpeggiator, MIDI controllers, etc. morphing.

UTILIZATION

The general configuration is it simple?

Yes no problem, note that there is a very active Yahoo group, full of information and advice to nab.

SOUNDS

The sounds they are suitable to your style of music?
- Are they realistic?
- The effects are they effective and responsive?
- The expression is good? (Response to velocity, aftertouch to)?
- What are the sounds you prefer, you hate ...?

OVERALL OPINION

How long have you use it?

A year and have not yet explored the possibilities of this incredible machine.

What is so special that you like most and least?

It is a scalable machine complexity. We can do both very rhythmic style or make-909 super complex drones through the music sense, create patterns of self-regenerating and so on. In any case it's not a device that lets you indifferent. If we want to fully exploit the machine must spend months.

How would you rate the quality / price?

Admittedly, it's a sequencer elitist homemade forces. I believe that there are 250 units including 80 as a kit like mine.
In view of the functions and originality that the P3 will bring to your components, it is worth breaking the bank.
