For how long have you been using it? 1 year already purchased or used on a site in deutchland a dream that I could achieve. Did you try many other models before getting this one? Oh! yes dozens, dozens ... What thing do you like most/least about it? Most tightens it sounds blues, rock, funk, jazz I have a model with a mute it sert.Un its versatile tight skin-tight single ply or double ply the sound is là.Pour my part I put a Remo emperor skin that has been proven. The - I see it ... What is your opinion about the value for the price? Well, it is worth the price Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice? Yes

scheithelapeyre's review

I just bought ($ 384 or € 250 at Guitar Center in Hollywood, good deal!). I came home with the idea of buying a wood snare drum and after trying a Pearl Omar Hakim, a Pearl free floating maple, a Pearl piccolo 13x3 maple Porkpie and I typed my wand by chance on a Supraphonic 14 "x6, 5" LM-402 that was lying there and I no longer wanted the other (I took the 14 "x5" LM-400 because the other would not fit in my suitcase). What I like: the first wand, I recognized the sound characteristic of the snare drum (the most recorded in the world), and I heard exactly what I want to hear when I slap on a snare drum, I say more! The impression is the same as when I tried my first Fender Stratocaster: LE had the impression of her. Snare in the tastes and colors do not discuss, but I think it is to try it before buying anything else ...

a myth .....

By staier, 23/03/2014
my first I got there 40 years, I have had many snares of all kinds.
for 39 years I thought I had THE snare, but time passes, the competition progressed, Ludwig did not move a muscle. The price / quality is average, the biggest problem is the chrome flaking and it's ugly.
quality is still sound more than adequate, the lightness of the machine. A myth that has lived there better today for the same price (or less)
priced I converted enn 1966 I paid 780 francs!
