Déjà vu Déjà vu

Analog preamp distortion very solid half rack format.
Front, one can find several settings including the bass, mids that can be refined with a parametric equalizer that goes from 0.5 to 4 kHz, a gain setting accompanied by a noise gate, treble A general volume and on / off button.
At the rear, there is a jack for a footswitch that is not included and I've never used an entrance, an output jack and 2 taken in power (for AC adapter) and power out .

UTILIZATION

The settings can be intuitively without manual. The parametric equalizer mediums is very interesting because it provides additional shades to customize your sound. The breath that could appear with a significant gain can be very effectively mate adjusting the Threshold setting.

SOUND QUALITY

Simply used a Red Box direct output mixer with a guitar pickup with a Seymour Duncan Invader SH8, this preamp can provide more than one in a register saturation type Hard Rock.

OVERALL OPINION

I used it for ten years to my distorted sound but I have not had the opportunity to compare with other preamps. I use it more now because I went to the Tonelab that offers more versatility in terms of settings and sound. But I'm not ready to part with because I think that I might be still need its sound. It really is a serious little preamp that provides rhythmic as solo and has more than 20 years.
