UTILIZATION

The manual is almost three leaves that bat just stapled duel ... bizar for the gear of this quality at the same time there is none need the manual.

SOUND QUALITY

The di is just outstanding, compared to that of my AU 610, or those of my Fireface.
It is more accurate bcp cristallin.les low sounds of hell and the guitars are top but also for low I find it a huge different from the 610.
In mic preamp is top for battery, for voice with U87 P48 I prefer my UA 610.
The preamp can relatively easily saturated, so be careful to catch but once you have understood the trick no problemo.
But precisely this saturation is great! we do not spend guitars, sinthé, Crate C finally what you want for "cradosser" sound, even to the very large musical distortion. I know that the engineers just to take it to distort and cradosser to death.

OVERALL OPINION

I have 2 months, I like other RME Fireface preamp Universal Audio 610, Yamaha 01V96.
I wanted to have a good battery seriously preamp to complete my gear.

At first I wanted to go on a console, and in the end I ended up taking the preamp and other gear rack rather than a console. (Space saving, if not blocked studio console down, transportable, and especially having less but better)

DRS is a 1 + - 1000 €, then 8 + € -3500 I think it's pretty honest.
It was expensive moin before he makes the united states, but it seems that the quality of production was limited. The AC seems to me very seriously, I have the AU avalon and I would say it is just as serious. and they put in a -15 pad esque worth increased + € -1000?? surt ... but not with this quality have 8 preamp for the price of my knowledge there is no cheaper.
