Sound module format GM2, GS and xg.sortie for coaxial, optical and four noon (2 in 2 out and making a figure out / trough) and stereo output (x2). More than 1050 are some 32 and 128 voice polyphony, 30 drum kits and multi-effects 3. Comes with PC software that is more telecheargeable via edirol site. Very good effects generator ... a true bte!!

UTILIZATION

Due to my lack of experience with a sound module (I worked with an internal pc card) I find it slightly more difficult!! on the other hand I connect directly to the MIDI output of my PC and I heard all the songs on my noon repertoire.Assez simple, given my lack of experience. For cons for the edition I will return to this subject a few days!

SOUNDS

Sounds are excellents.j 've heard of the Roland SC series and I can say that the sd-80 outperforms its predecessors in the series sc. Ds that I heard I knew I had to get hold of something great! That sounds more realistic, very powerful effects and transparent, in short, an orchestra in a small box ..... genial !!!!!!

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for two days !!!!!!! But the sounds are really excellents.Je probably could not ask for more of a sound module (for now anyway) as mentioned above with the incomparrable SC Series home roland.Si you heard a sc and the sound convinced you, run to buy the SD-80 !!!!!! you will not be disappointed .....

ps: This advice is given by Canadians in Quebec and I-80 nd pay my $ 1260 tax included
no regrets ...
