UTILIZATION

Super Channel, it's certainly not as an RG, but he keeps a flat profile at the center and is quite thin. Radius pronondé more than a RG, but for the bends. The profile is rather "D" and "C" I would say. I suits me perfectly because I do not understand Why they are all sleeved round or C, not ideal for the technique to me.
The use of medium frets is very nice, and once you've tasted it is difficult thing to get back to jumbo that seem huge and aggressive!
Access to the last box without a problem, really (better than the old SZ).
The balance is good standing, it does not look to the head and the upper belt clip is ideally placed (in front of the box about 17th): the handle is not "far" as a SG, and it does not fit you in the stomach as a RG. The guitar is in front of the belly, like a tele or axis. Detail for some, but very impotant for me.
The guitar is not too heavy.

SOUNDS

When I plugged the guitar on the overdrive channel, the first thought that came to mind is "appetite for destruction"!? I can not describe better, I really sound that Slash on this album, much more than my Les Paul.
The sound is big but not too fat but does not blur mediums very present but not intrusive, Ibanez has really done a great job with these microphones. It's a guitar solo, I'd say. The notes "sing" and show some nice harmonic if the note vibrates well.
And that sound is actually quite versatile, from blues to hard crunchy. For metal there may be too many mediums, to see ...
Clean sound is more traditional and less fun. The pickups have a lot of attack, even in the neck position and you will not have a mellow or muted, the attack is very straightforward.
No Fender type sounds (although the center position splits the pickups) just sounds thinner in the center position. Being able to adjust the volume of individual microphones can mix interesting. Sounds very clean and clear mat anyway.

OVERALL OPINION

I have had about fifty guitars in my life as a musician, so I would say I know a little bit anyway ...
I like the handle, access to acute, ergonomics and distorted sounds. Enthusiasts for clean sounds, go your way. It's really the only fault I can do. It also gives it its personality on the guitar.
I do not understand why Ibanez has stopped producing this guitar is a model of ergonomics (I repeat, much better than the SZ to the neck and pickups).
Mine is transparent orange is not really ugly either!
In short, a guitar very endearing, if you get the chance try it, I hope you will be convinced as I was!
