SOUNDS

Guitar excellence, sounds prestige ... What can I say? The Govan Suhr Antique Modern excels with disconcerting ease in all styles. When versatility meets the requirement, it gives the Antique Modern. Whatever your musical personality of the 30 guitars I've had since 1996, including several popular nickname brand guitars, Ibanez Signatures and so on, they have nothing to do with the majestic Govan, on peaked in sound quality, comfort and musicality here. It is unique in the world.

I found THE guitar and I could not resist owning 3. A Suhr S6, a Govan Bengal Burst 2009 in addition to the Antique Modern.

A warning though, the guitar is perfect, it requires a clean and precise fingering game, all defects or subtle game being heard, this guitar does not forgive approximation.

OVERALL OPINION

For me, without a doubt, the best guitar in the world. Play Suhr made me mature in my approach and its hardware and changed my perception of the quality of an instrument.

The Govan Suhr Antique Modern took another value since it is no longer manufactured ...! No discount is found on its price, certainly elitist, but its rarity makes it an even more popular guitar. What is beautiful is rare.

UTILIZATION

At first the handle a little surprised because it seemed thick ... to realize, in the end it is very comfortable.

SOUNDS

very versatile, you can do anything with this shovel! funk, jazz, blues, metal ... it explodes in all areas, knobs volume and tone are very effective in changing the sounds, and then press the p'tite blower switch to bypass the electronic scratch (the volume is open or semi humbucker in single mode) and send the potato with the bridge pickup at full speed (ideal for a rhythm to a solo for example).
So I use less pedals now, preferring to play with the knobs for volume, tone and blower switch

OVERALL OPINION

I love stratocaster (I have some), but I wanted a guitar that gives me this kind of sounds with a more wicked when to send the sauce and a great vibrato, with no-Tremol allowing pass a floating bridge, floating or semi-blocked (in fact, a compromise between a strat and a little guitar typed metal).
