Operates on phantom power only.
OVERALL OPINION
This is my first MS
Bought used in an audio-naturalist for the field-recording and video
Chosen because it is very compact for MS and manufacture of high quality. In the other excellent signal / noise.
The million hypercardioid is very interesting to isolate the mono center for an interview for example in a noisy environment cardio can "pick up" too wide and a gun to be too risky because contrary directive.
Cons:
No power supply on battery and no low-cut or pad attenuator.
External mastering mandatory ... but this is a detail.
On the occasion: excellent value for money!
Not yet back on its use, but I do not really think being disappointed ...
